The SWICA Benecura app offers a range of services such as the SymptomCheck and the PreventionCheck, making it easier for you to look after your health:
- Services: SWICA Benecura provides reliable information and recommendations for the appropriate steps to take.
- Always available: SWICA Benecura is your digital point of contact, providing instant access to medical information.
- Security: SWICA Benecura stores your encrypted data in a dossier that only you can access.
If needed, you can send data to santé24 and to doctors in encrypted form. SWICA cannot view this data.
Patient safety thanks to data protection
The SWICA Benecura app is a Class IIa medical product. This means:
- Satisfies the EU medical devices regulation
- Clinical assessment and evidence of medical benefit
- Meets the performance standards without risk to users
- Data is stored in a dossier in encrypted form
- Can only be accessed by the insured person
- Compliance with the regulations on the protection of sensitive personal data
- SWICA cannot access the user's data
- The insured person decides whether to grant access to santé24's doctors
- All data is subject to doctor-patient confidentiality
