This FAQ provides answers to the most important questions regarding SWICA’s recruitment process – including how to prepare, what the process entails and your next steps once the application process has been completed.
A complete set of documents helps us gain a better impression of you. But we understand that not all of your documents may be readily available, so the minimum we need is a full CV. If your motivation is not clear from your CV, we would also welcome an additional cover letter.
Of course. If anything is unclear, please contact the individual at HR Recruiting who is responsible for the position you are applying for. You can find contact details in the advertisement, or here: Contact – SWICA.
We recommend signing up to our jobs mailing list. That way, you’ll get regular updates on current vacancies that match your selected criteria.
For data protection reasons, only online applications received via our careers page can be taken into consideration.
When you submit your application, you will be asked if someone has recommended you. If so, you can enter that person’s name.
Learn about the individual steps of the recruitment process, and find out what you can expect at each step.
Our aim is to respond to all applicants as quickly as possible. After you have received an email confirming the receipt of your application, we will keep you up to date regarding the procedure moving forwards – in the form of an invitation to an interview, an update or a rejection. We aim to complete the entire process, from application to acceptance, within a period of four to six weeks. The process may take longer, depending on the position and the availability of everyone involved.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with the contact person named in the advertisement.
Whether the interview is in person or virtual, it gives us a chance to get to know each other. We want to find out more about you as a person, in addition to your professional career. Think about what sets you apart, and why you would fit in well at SWICA. It goes without saying that we are also interested in what particularly appeals to you about the position, what your expectations are, and why you applied to us.
We also want to answer all of your questions regarding the position, and what it’s like to work for SWICA. This gives you a comprehensive impression, and allows you to judge for yourself whether SWICA is right for you. The aim of the conversation is to find out together whether we are a good fit.
An application may be rejected for many different reasons that are specific to each case. For more detailed information, you can either contact the relevant person at HR Recruiting directly or send an email to hrrecruiting@swica.ch. We will be happy to get in touch with you.
Please get in touch with the contact person specified in the advertisement or send an email to hrrecruiting@swica.ch.
